20th May 2011

I learned a new quote today,
"He is not a fool who gives what he cannot keep and gain that which he cannot lose."
which reminds me not to be too ambitious to wanting to do everything, and to keep the priority right. We should learn how to get over with things that we have lost too and hopefully we won't repeat the same mistake again.
Btw, I have a story to tell:

Long long time ago, there was a person who works hard to finish the assignments given, like a soldier working hard to defense his country, but that person always do them at the last minute..

Until the present day, that person is still doing the assignments at the very last minute and had countless sleepless night especially a few days before the assignments' due date.

One day, that person suddenly realized that all the assignments could not be done by the deadline given and that person's face turned blue. Obviously, the person never learnt the lesson.

However, we still can. We should never push our responsibility for later. What can be done by today should be done by today, because....

Tomorrow, tomorrow tomorrow...

(wanted to say life's brief candle, but)

Tomorrow never comes

(sounds better? hehe, make sense right? tomorrow will still be tomorrow and we only have the present, which is "today")

Cat Mummy and Kitten

I just came back from a few days trip in grandma's place.

The trip was "fun-tas-tic!" Especially when there were two stray cats came into grandma's house when we arrive. They must have smelt grandma's cooking.

I fed them for a few days when I was staying there. I bought them cat canned foods and dad fed them fish's inner organs when he was cleaning the fish for storage. Those cats were having the best time of their lives I guess.

After a few days of playing around, it's time to go back. When I reached home I gave a call to grandma, she told me the cats had gone missing after we left her place.

Awh, I really miss the cats. They are so cute, they will walk around your legs telling you that they are hungry, they will let you touch them when they are full. There was a few times the cats jumped into the house through window to find food. Although grandma was unhappy about cats getting into the house, but I tried really hard to convince grandma to keep them. I don't know why, but I felt like I have the responsibility to take care both of them, especially when the adult mum cat is pregnant. When I grow older, I want to have pets. Cat and dog together if possible. Well, I could start taking care of them when they were just a newborn, maybe they will think that they are siblings. hehe.

Mummy cat, "Don't mess with me, I'm pregnant."

Pregnant cat mum and her kitten

Hehe, here comes the whole family photo, except the father of the fetus has gone missing.

Oh boy, I really miss both of them. Sometimes they live peacefully (the kitten sucking milk from mum), sometimes they have a little battle pratice together.

Awh, look how comfortable I made this cat mummy felt. hehe.

I really wish to see them again. Hope cat mummy can give birth to many healthy kittens, and hope the teenage brother kitten will take good care of the siblings too.

The Taste of Defeat

Recently my family has been having Monopoly Deal fever. Everything they do, they'll try to put in the game in between. Don't understand what I mean? For example: "Today the house need to be vacuumed and mopped! Let's play Monopoly Deal, starting from 4 player, winner out until there's 2 people left. Whoever lost will have to vacuum and mop the floor." So, we started the game.

I had 2 complete sets done and was a treat to the rest of the family. What did they do to solve the problem? All of them helped each other to make me pay for rent, forced deal and sly deal my property cards and used deal breaker to steal my whole set. Initially dad was losing everything, but he eventually caught up when I was being attacked. In the end, my sister won the game.

I wasn't very happy about it. I was on the way of winning but I was receiving attack from all of them! When sister won, dad praised her for being smart! What I thought is that she got all the right cards, lucky her. My luck did not become better. Dad won the next game, leaving me and mum for the final. I suggested to mum that we can split the job into halves so we don't have to be too tired from doing both. Dad helped though, to vacuum the floor even though he won.

Immediately after the game, I was furious. I could have won but I just don't have the dominating card like the Deal Breaker or Just Say No card. I couldn't attack nor defend myself. My complete sets were left unprotected. Why can't I get the card I want? Why is my luck so bad all the time?

Mum mopped the floor while I was taking a shower. When I was done, the pizza man came. I decided to have lunch first before I mop. After lunch, mum said, "hey, let's play Monopoly Deal one round, if you win, I'll mop the floor for you." Wow, I thought, if I lose, I am still going to mop the floor just like before. This is an advantage for me.

Well, I lost the game again. It seems like I'm the lousiest player in the house. My luck never come, I don't have the intelligence that my sister processes nor her model's height. Just my luck right? I confirmed it when I tried to mop, the pail that mum used earlier has spoilt. Without that pail (a very convenient pail which one just have to step on it to spin dry the mop), I need to use the mop in the olden ways, by twisting the mop with my hands to make it a little more dry. haiz.. Just my luck.

Face Problem

Do I face problem? yeah, I would like to think so. Everything I do, I'm concern about what others will think of me. I mean, I'm not the person who follows everything everyone says but I feel like I have an image to keep. What kind of image? I'm not sure myself either.

I went to my friend's house to pick up my clothes that I lent to her. She told me she won't be at home until 2.30pm. When I reached her house after lunch around her place, I was early by 5 minutes. I text-ed her to check if she has reached her home but I got no reply. I tried calling her twice but no one answered. I saw her maid picking up clothes from the house front yard and my dad urge me to go down the car and ask her if my friend is around. I didn't want to. Why? later I wonder myself too.

Just when I was about to leave her house, I saw her coming out of her house and sat in a car and went off. Mum yelled at me to ask her for my clothes now but I didn't. She was going off anyway. However, I was kind of shocked to see her going off. She asked me to meet her after 2.30pm, I reached there and called her mobile but I didn't get any answer. When I text-ed her that, fine, since she's not at home, I'll go another day, she immediately appeared in front of the house and went off. Why didn't I stop her when she was about to get into the car? later I wonder myself too.

So, mum yelled at me in the car, dad mentioned it a little about my face problem when we reached home. Do I have a face problem? Yeah, a major one. and I need to do something with that. Starting from this very second...

Results!!

Yeah! my study result finally is out!!! =] I got all HDs but my chemistry got just a little lower than required. They want average 85% but I have 84%. Well, I have to wait for another week or two to see if I receive any result from the university itself. I really want to get in.

Diary Entry 9th December 2010

A few things happened these past few weeks. My cousin got married. My maid ran away (note: she was not abused, I think maybe she is the kind of person who doesn't like to work in constant routine, means, cleaning the house as daily routine, same thing happen again and again everyday) and a unit of house near ours caught fire when the owners weren't at home. The cause of the fire is short circuit of electricity.

My course's result was released yesterday and I don't have the courage to check it yet. I saw on facebook that a few of my classmates have gotten HD, that's high definition for you, means 80% and above. I'll check it tonight when I find the paper guide, showing step by step to check the result online. Hmm.. Now where have I placed my file?
